Temperament
From adolescence, a Weimaraner requires extensive exercise in keeping with an energetic hunting dog breed prized for their physical endurance and stamina. No walk is too far, and they will appreciate games and play in addition. An active owner is more likely to provide the vigorous exercising, games, or running that this breed absolutely requires. Weimaraners are high-energy and often wear out their owners, requiring appropriate training to learn how to calm them and to help them learn to control their behavior. Owners need patience and consistent, firm yet kind training, as this breed is particularly rambunctious during the first year and a half of its life. But, even after that year and a half of a rambunctious puppyhood, they still remain hyper as ever, even when they are settling into old age. This breed is known for having a penchant for stealing food from table and counter tops whenever given the chance. These dogs also do crazy things like run from room to room in a house in an obstacle course for no real reason, walk their owner instead of vice versa, and they tend to destroy toys within minutes of getting one. Like many breeds, untrained and unconfined young dogs often create their own fun when left alone, such as chewing house quarters and furniture. Thus, many that are abandoned have behavioral issues as a result of isolation and inferior exercise. Weimaraners are generally good with children.

This silver proof coin with a serrated edge is dedicated to our constant companions: Cats and Dogs! The Weimaraner coin is the third of the My Great Protector coins to be released as part the ambitious Dogs and Cats series by JVP Investment Coins. In total, there will be 72 different designs in this series, including 36 cats and 36 dogs. The dogs featured within My Great Protector symbolize reliability and security. When a dog is a puppy he is protected and maintained by his owner and later he becomes the protector of the owner and his family.
Reverse Design
This 1 oz 999 silver coin features a colour image of a Weimaraner against the finely engraved background of a car interior. Each of the coins within the Dogs and Cats series will feature a Swarovski Circonia stone. The My Great Protector Weimaraner coin features a dark green stone in the shape of a five pointed star.
Obverse Design
The obverse features the emblem of Republic of Fiji and is engraved with the specifications of ‘2 dollars’ and the year ‘2013’.
Packaging
The My Great Protector Weimaraner coin is housed in beautiful presentation case, coloured to harmonize with the coins dark green Swarovski Circonia star, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
